Potato Salad (Kartoffelsalat)

Ingredients

5 Potatoes
1 Onion
1 Garlic Clove
Salt
Pepper
Sugar
Paprika Powder
Parsley
Caraway
a little Vinegar
a little Water
Oil

Preparation

Wash, boil and peel the potatoes. Then cut them into thin slices.

Cut the onion and the garlic clove into small pieces. Add them to the potato slices.

Add a little salt, pepper, sugar (just a pinch), paprika powder, parsley and caraway. Then add a little vinegar, some water and a little bit more oil until the potato salad is slushy, but not too liquid. In Austria it is used as side dish for many meals, especially Wiener Schnitzel.
